I was trying to set up background image for grub in new
Ubuntu 10.4 and was unsuccessfull.
First, i did as described in tutorial and updated
"WALLPAPER" in /etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme, put
jpeg file in /boot/grub and updated grub. - No image
appeared during start-up.
I have also tryed to load image from grub command line
"background_image file.jpg". no go.
Does the image for background should be of special size in pixels?
I do not know if it is related i run videotest from grub command line, it showed something odd: the text "good for 5 pounds, tau"
and then computer hanged up...
Any suggestions, guys who have image loaded correctly.
