Installation Failed

Have tried to install Lucid Lynx using 64 bit and i686

I get the following error message:

Installation Failed
The installer encountered an unrecoverable error. A desktop will now be run so that you may investigate the problem or try installing again.

When I try to install from the desktop, I get as far as step 7 and then hangs.

I have tried to install on 3 different WD drives

Would really like to use this version, so any help would be appreciated
