Hi all I'm planning to update from kubuntu 8.04 to latest one. But before that I have to ask a question about the KDE behavior on external monitor.
I do own a laptop that when used at home is connected to an external (VGA) monitor that is set to be the primary monitor when connected while the laptop monitor became the primary monitor only when no external monitor is connected.
So when the external monitor is connected all the panels are on it while when I'm using the laptop alone all panels are on the laptom monitor.
Using the live CD i was unable to get the same behavior, the panels remain on the laptop monitor even though the VGA monitor was explicity set as the primary one.
And when I moved the panel on the external monitor when I disabled it the laptop display had no panels at all.
Is there an official way to have the same behavior I'm having with 8.04?
