Ubuntu 10.04 amd64 Live CD
Intel Core i7 920
6GB of DDR 3 (Triple channel)
XFX ATi Radeon 5870
Intel DX58SO Motherboard.

I get the boot selection menu. I then see the Ubuntu loading bar...and monitor1 goes blacks "No Input Detected"

Monitor0 gives me "Input Not Supported"

I cannot seem to bring up a tty1-6 screen using CTR + ALT + F#

Now, if I do CTRL+ALT+F6 both monitors goto sleep. When I select CTR+ALT+F7 I get the input not supported message.

Any idea what could be causing this...or is there anyway around it?

Thanks,
Tim

You can't even boot to a live session?

Someone gave me an idea on the IRC channel.

Once I disconnected one of my monitors it was fine.

Was a really weird thing. I guess Ubuntu could not figure out what monitor to use.

Cool, that does make sense.
