This week, we've had the Humble Indie Bundle raise over $1 million, Valve has officially announced a Linux steam client, and Ryzom online has gone open source.
It looks like Linux is getting closer to becoming a viable gaming platform, at least for the casual gamer.
I know that many people dual boot or avoid Ubuntu so that they can keep their games. If they can run all the games they want natively on Linux, there will be no need to ever use Windows.
How do you think this will affect Windows market share?
