I have the internet connection. And i have tried to update to 10.04 since two weeks ago. I tried changing the server too. This always comes out when i tried to upgrade it.

Could not download the upgrades

The upgrade is now aborted. Please check your Internet connection or installation media and try again. All files downloaded so far are kept.

You might try to go into synaptic package manager and try a different download server. Under settings > repositories
