I'm looking at their site: http://quanta.kdewebdev.org/

And they haven't had a release sense February of 2008! Which odd for them as they have made many releases throughout the years beforehand. And their news archive seems to stop at Nov, 2, 2008. While the year isn't listed in the dates for the news its not hard to match their release announcement date of 3.5.9 from the date on the release page and follow it from there.

You are probably best asking on the kde forums. I suspect that quanta wasn't ported to kde4 and hence has died but perhaps they are working on it.

2 years without a release is still quite some time. At least for a app anyway. A undermanned OS development sure, but not a app such as Quanta Plus.

As it stands.
Is Quanta Plus still being developed? (http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=87416&p=155887&hilit=Quanta#p155887)

It should be ported soon or be replaced by another application of similar functionality.

Dang I wish I could remember which of my RSS feeds I saw this in, but someone posted just in the last week or so that it was being ported now and should "return from the grave" before too long.
