I was using 9.10 (64 bit) since when it was relased and everything worked fine, yesterday I tried a fresh install of 10.04, kubuntu 64 bit, but the install or live stop both with the error message:
"Could not start kdeinit4" and something else like "check your installation"...
Ubuntu 10.04 64bit works fine, the live and the installation, but kubuntu not...this is the first time I see something like that. My video card is an Asus Nvidia Geforce 8400 GS, the MB Asus P5K Pro. Please could someone help me? I cannot even try to install it.
