1 week ago :

"Oh boy! 10.4 is out, lets upgrade! hooray!"

"Why are my buttons on the wrong side? :I"

"Why is it taking so looooong to boot, come on hurry up!"

"...Why can't i get into windows..."

"Let's go watch a video on [popular video site]. What it dosen't work? :("

Maybe next time i will wait before upgrading. Fixed the boot times and the buttons being on the wrong side. But the rest? forget about it. Still better then windows though:KS :(

I'm patiently waiting for the dust to settle a bit more before upgrading my good, work computers, but I DO have the Lynx on a spare drive. I learned the hard way too, so I never upgrade my work computers till I've tested the new system on a spare. I plugin that spare drive on weekends and *mess with it a while, do tweaks and updates and such.

All in all, except for a few small problems (with me being the most likely culprit for causing them), I'd say the Lynx is very, very nice. Looking forward to installing it on some of my work computers soon.

*I've moved the buttons too, several times. :P

No such thing as 10.4....there is, however, a 10.04

They're not on the "wrong" side, they're on the left side.

What happens when you try to boot windows?

Either windows is fine and ubuntu simply did not add windows to the grub menu or you messed up during the partitioning and installed over it.
