Gear heads and computer geeks are like one half of the same side of the same coin, surely you can get one of your other Asian friends to help you build a website for a small discount (read free) on some of the part's he'll want. Hell if you were doing this 5 years ago and had any 4AGE Toyota parts for my MR2, I'd build you a website in trade for parts.

In fact post up on the car forum that you're going to be selling parts for, I bet you get a few posts in the same hour with people wanting what you're selling and who would be willing to build you a site in a few days.

I do have one other piece of advice, get 1 designer and 1 developer separately if you can, at least if you want a nice AND functional site. Functional is easy for a developer, pretty is not, and vice versa for the designer. Again, you can probably find both in the gearhead community.
