View Full Version : [ubuntu] Crash after suspend - serious filesystem corruption (Fresh Install - Lucid 10.4)

May 11th, 2010, 12:12 AM
Just installed Lucid on a Dell XPS 1330.
Installation flawlessly, and sound/wifi, nvidia drivers working fine.
Added a few packages from universe and multiverse and the lastest updates.

First suspend went through without any problem (I was amazed given my experiences with previous versions).
After the second suspend, the screen when black, but the mouse pointer still responded. Could not get into the system again. Reboot, and irrecoverable filesystem corruption.

Anyone has had similar problems?
(Needless to say my hard-drive is ok... as I am running now from the windows partition on the same disk).
