hey there,

ive been using ubuntu 9.10 for the past 6 months, and with the new release i decided to try out the new kubuntu. so installed it and mounted my data partition in (at?) /home.
after quite a short time i realized that i didnt like KDE at all and so i reinstalled ubuntu 10.04. again i mounted my data in/at /home.
now i have the problem that i dont have any window frames. i used and i still use CCSM and when i open the window decorator prefrences "compiz-window-decorator" is declared in the box "command".
for this box i get a mouseover-hint which says that this window-decorator is started only if no other one already runs.
could it be that somwhere somehow kwin is still declared as my window decorator and is started earlier?
perhaps im going into the completly wrong direction, cause i dont really have that much knowledge about the way desktop environments are managed and implemented, so please dont be too harsh on me

thanks in advance,
proggie
