cairo dock help?

OK so I set up Cairo dock, but I just have 1 question. There
seems to be a issue when I open players or firefox and want
them to be on maximize full screen, Cairo is still there at the
bottom and I just want it to disappear when I launch my
programs at full screen. I just want it there when I am on
my desktop. Thanks.

In cairo dock 2.1.3 right click the dock click configure
then go to the visibility button it's the first option
there's a drop down list the option is your needing is
keep the dock below windows.

Hey andrea thanks, I just figured it out on my own
and added some cool animations with snow, rain, jumping
icons and rotating 3d cubes and it's working perfect
with compiz, Nobody can do this in Windows.

damn I have another problem, the thing just
disappeared and now the maintenence screen pops
up every 5 seconds when I close it.

Cairo Dock is really sweet but it does have some really annoying issues. The maintenance window only opens up when I start my computer for me. Idk what the problem is for you. For me Cairo Dock will sometimes keep itself above all other windows, even though I have it set to below other windows. W/e this happens I simply just quit the dock and re open it.

maybe one of the applet is messing the dock.
try deactivating the ones you activated recently.

I got a better version and used terminal
to install it instead of synaptic. All my
features I set up, just worked out the box
and there is a funny penguin running around.
