Hello all,
I'm looking for some GIS (cartography) software that can open Landsat tile files. Those files as found on (http://lima.usgs.gov/view_lima.php) are zips containing the following extensions: .H1/3, .HI, .I1/9, .MTL, .WO
I've tried the various mapping softwares found in the repositories: OpenJump, Thuban and Grass, but none of them can read those files. Any suggestion ?
I've written my own cartography software in decades past but I don't want to reinvent the wheel ! Yes, I know, both WorldWind and GoogleEarth work in Linux and do show Landsat data, but I'd like to be able to run some processing.
