My brother had ubuntu 9.10 installed which worked fine. He upgraded to 10.4. After that his computer starts in low graphics mode. He has an Intel 945GC/ICH7 chipset with a Intel GMA950 onboard video. Why would an upgrade cause his video to stop working? What can we do to fix it?
