Is it possible to install Ubuntu 10.04 on a RAID5 array using the AMD890 chipset?
I have sucessfully created a RAID5 array in the BIOS using three 1TB hard disks but when I reach the partitioning section of the Ubuntu installation instead of being presented with a single 2TB volume to partition I can only see the three 1TB disks listed individually.
Is this because there is no support for RAID with the 890 chipset or am I missing something obvious?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
