Hello,

in latest Ubuntu version 10.04 LTS lucid lynx in default style Ambiance the bar is dark, menus background also is dark and fonts are white. Unfortunatelly in Opera which is Qt application menus background is also dark, but fonts are black so menu becomes extremely blured- you can see the effects on below print screen:

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? How to force Opera to use GTK style (white fonts etc.)? Settings in qt4-qtconfig don't make any changes (I use Opera built with Qt4).

Kind Regards.

I didn't find your thread for some resaon. I asked the same question here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1505083). I had the same problem in Skype, the solution was to change the appearance setting to use the system defaults. I tried the same in Opera but I can't get it to work.

I also found this post (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/05/ambiance-opera-skin.html). I tried installing it on Opera v10.10 build 4742 but it messed things up a bit. I deleted it again. Maybe it's a solution for Opera v10.50+ though. I'd be interested to hear if you can get it to work somehow.
