Hi There,

I have been tinkering around and created my own touchscreen device. I bought various parts and put them together. The main reason was that I wanted a device to do what I wanted it to :)

So here is my issue, I finally got my touchscreen, 3g module and video card to run smoothly on ubuntu 9.10.

Now I wanted to use the following desktop examples: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MobileAndEmbedded/UserInterface

So Basically I want to install the mobile-ui/hildon desktop on my device, and use kinetic scrolling, and a simplified UI on my device. (this will eventually be installed in my car, with GPS, Phone functionality, etc)

I am having a lot of trouble finding a good tutorial on how to install this. Does anyone have any guides or step by step tutorials to install the mobile interfaces on Ubuntu 9.10? or any other "simple" or "finger" driven interfaces/Gui?

Appreciate your help on this!

Thanks
