Hi everybody. I am running Ubuntu 10.4.
Due to a desperate failure to fix a gnome problem, I installed KDE and decided to try it.
Later on, I fixed the gnome problem, and wanted to get rid of KDE.
I removed basically everything that starts with a "k". KDE seems to be gone, but the Kubuntu boot screen is still shown at start up.
I want to get rid of it, and restore the default Ubuntu boot screen. How can I do this?
I tried some steps I found on-line, but they all seem to be obsolete.
Thank you for your help :P
