You have to see it to get it. Basically its an AWN applet which provides a sort of recently accessed files for all related applications. More like Win 7 jumplists, but better than that. For instance if you saved an image using firefox, it'll be available with one click after you open any image related program.
Great for working with projects.

This is a pretty awesome evolution of desktop workflow! I am now moving from docky to AWN, just so I'll be able to use it ;) (I hope dockys zeitgeist applet gets the same feature in the future!)

SO much better than jump lists... holy crap, this functionality's amazing! Zeitgeist is gonna' make everything... just plain awesome... I can't believe what I just saw.

Like, you can't get that anywhere else. This is phenomenal. Gnome3's gonna' rock.

Um... I can't wait until they have a PPA. O_O

Anyone have any luck compiling the zeitgeist applet?
Mine's telling me I dont have the package 'awn' installed. Wierd.

the developer needs some donations for new hardware to help him with speed/improve development, if anyone wants to pitch in
