I can't get rid of the "Mail Notification Properties" Window at startup.
Every time the system comes up, there is the window for the settings. It's just empty as I don't want any more mail notifications than Thunderbird has.

I looked into the Mail Notification Properties and haven't found any settings to get rid of the window. And I disabled "Mail Notification" in System > Preferences.

Still this window keeps coming back over and over again.

It even survived the upgrade from Karmic to Lucid. How can I get rid of it?

I have the same problem. Have you managed to get rid of the annoying thing?

No, haven,t heard anything.
I just wanted to ask the same question in the German Ubuntu Forums.
Perhaps I count the clicks I made, so it will be of any use.

I found a solution: I uninstalled the mail notification via Synaptic. Because I don't need mail notification (Thunderbird has its own) I did not reinstall it. But I think it's worth a try to reinstall it to see if the it will reappear ...
