Well I have recently created a website for all things tutorials and I just recently posted two tutorials on there.

One is for installing the ATI drivers on Ubuntu 10.04

And the other is for helping users switch from Windows over to Ubuntu. I will give the general site and also give the URLs for the specific help area.

Main area
http://tutorials-for-all.dyndns.org.x10hosting.com

ATI driver installation:
http://tutorials-for-all.dyndns.org.x10hosting.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=54&func=view&catid=10&id=4

Windows to Ubuntu help:
http://tutorials-for-all.dyndns.org.x10hosting.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=54&func=view&catid=32&id=24

I am also currently looking for members and moderators. Thank you to all that show up! I hope this helps!

First, I will give my reasons for people to make the switch over to Ubuntu. Everything on Ubuntu is free! No more paying for that 400 dollar software to use Windows Word. No more paying 800 dollars for Adobe Photoshop. Ubuntu has an alternative for all of these programs for free. There are a lot of good reasons for certain computer users to prefer Ubuntu to Windows. This isn't one of them. OpenOffice and GIMP are both available for Windows.

In fact, there are plenty of good open source Windows applications (http://www.opensourcewindows.org), not to mention closed source cost-free applications.

Something that needs to be said, and it's very important: An alternative is not the same thing as a full replacement.
