Youtube videos can not play

I have installed lucid.
I am using Linux mark-laptop 2.6.32-22-generic-pae #33-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 28 14:57:29 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux.
I can not play youtube videos

You have to install Flash.

I'm having this issue too---flash is installed in Lucid, and YT will play, but buttons will not respond(stop, start, rewind, etc)
