I have been trying to create a usable, verified CD to install Ubuntu 10.04 netbook and am having difficulty in getting a verified disk.
I have tried this on two different machines, with the same result.
I downloaded the appropriate file on both my mac and my asus 1000. I created the image on a CD, again, using both machines. Disk burning was done at the slowest speed.
In both cases during the disk verification step I get the following message: "Sector 342926 is unreadable. Verification failed."
