Attempting to install the 64 bit LTS 10.04 A purple loading screen appears, no boot splash, is that normal? cuz that's new... when it appears that it is done loading (circles beneath "ubuntu" stop changing color) the screen goes blank and the monitor goes to sleep. it seems as though video broadcast to the monitor stops... duh.. but yeah i am using an xfx ATI Radeon HD 4650... I'd be surprised if this is a driver issue but i thought i'd ask. maybe its a corrupt disc? i have no idea so i'm going to try the alternate install disc but an answer to this problem would be nice! Thanks!
