Vnc and 10.04

I have upgraded to version 10.04 but now my previously working vncviewer fails to work properly. It appears that the cursor positions within the vncviewer and on the actual machine are different and that the vncviewer doesn't update properly.

Anyone else had a similar experience and know a solution please?
