I am a fairly new user to Ubuntu, with that said I am trying to figure out how to have my X settings set based on if the laptop is docked (and attached to external monitor) or not docked and just laptop LCD. When I undock the laptop my X settings still thinks there is a monitor to the left therefore my desktop is extended.
I can go back into nvidia-settings and save my xconfig and restart X to fix but just curious if there is an easier way? Thank you.
