Lucid Lynx and Toshiba L505

I just got a new laptop a Toshiba L505 running win 7. I want to install a dual boot with Ubuntu and when I try this is what I get...

Any ideas as to what this means? I don't ever get to the gui install screen. Any one else have issues such as this?

I have the same issue with a Toshiba L505 and it's frustrating to say the least. I haven't found any answers and have given up for now.
