Upgrade to 10.04 moved the application menu to right monitor

I have a dual monitor setup. When I upgraded to 10.04 it swapped my display as follows

Now:

What I want:

|....Left..Monitor...............................| ..Right..Monitor..|
|................................................| ..................|
|................................................| ..................|


After upgrading to 10.04, it swapped which monitor the "application| Places| System|" and the bottom bar with all my open windows from the left monitor to the right. I want all this stuff on the left monitor and then the right is my extra stuff. When I use "Monitor Preferences" to change it, then it swaps them but the mouse drags across the screens the wrong directions.

Does anyone know an easy setting to change to get this to work?
