I bought a Compaq CQ61 Notebook with only FreeDos(command line only) installed in it. I tried installing Ubuntu in it. After initiating the installing, it stops infinitely at "Starting Common Unix Printing System(cups)". Can someone help me understand the issue and resolve it?
When I use an external hard disk with ubuntu, it is booting up and working fine.
