I switched from Ubuntu to Kubuntu when KDE 4.3 came out. I haven't had any desire to switch back since.

Aside from Ubuntu, I also use XBMC Live which is another derivative, currently based on Karmic.

I've been using Kubuntu since 6.10, and I must say, 10.04 is the most painless experience I've had yet. I just installed it and it was a delight.

For me, depends on my mood. My favorite "Ubuntu's" are: Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu Studio (In no special order. I am not crazy about Kubuntu. I will use Suse with KDE before I use that. Kubuntu is not bad at all it just isn't for me.

+1

I voted Other because I use Ubuntu command-line installation, with the addition of kde-minimal. I have been using this setup since Karmic/KDE 4.3 and I'm loving it.

Never liked Ubuntu.. I mean Gnome. I think it's ugly and looks like it's made for trained monkeys.
Since KDE 4* it's KDE that's the most innovative these days, and as always gives all the power to the user instead of holding it back because 'it may confuse the user'.

Those who replied "other", which version is it exactly? The only other I can think of is Edubuntu.

I can imagine all those using a non *buntu-distro (there are many thousands of them on this forum) will tick that box too ;-)
