Hi,

I'm just starting to use GIMP and I have a very basic question to ask.

I have a textbox, with some text in it, which I would like to make larger (If I increase the font size, it goes onto a new line), however I cannot see any way to do this.

I can move the box around easily enough, but it dosen't seem to have the resizing icon that Photoshop has when you hover over the edges of the selection.

Can anyone help?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.

There are handles for resizing the textbox, they're those empty rectangles and bars that appear in its corners or sides. They should highlight if you move the mouse inside one.
The textbox must be selected though, maybe that's why they don't show up. Just click on your text with the text tool (not the selection or move tools) as if for editing. The handles should appear then.
