10.04 balck screen after installation

I did a fresh install of 10.04 and erase 9.10. (for 64 bit intel system)
The auto installation gave me installation failure and redirected me into the desktop environment to do the manual installation.
After I did that, and reboot. The screen shows a lot of ata7 frozen and connection failed errors.

Now it seems that the installation is ok. But whenever I reboots, it will gave me 4 minutes black screen till the mother board message shows.

Anybody has this problem?

Never mind.
I figured it out. Somehow the ethernet port wasn't working. It may continuously looking for network connection.
