UBUNTU + Mail

I use the LiveCD.

I tried to send an e-mail from within UBUNTU using the Mail programme.

I tried to configure the mail account using a yahoo address.

I found that I could not send the message.

Is there an issue between UBUNTU and Yahoo?

You can only check your Yahoo Mail with a mail program if you have paid access to Yahoo Mail Plus: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/mailplus/pop/pop-35.html;_ylt=AgthvxeB5yRdqDYTVAc9wOG7myN4

Otherwise, you need to just use a web browser to access your mail.
