I have read a few peoples stories regarding their installation nightmares related to the black screen of death while trying to install 10.04.
I am about to give it another on my HTPC, but I am wondering if there is something that people are doing to hopefully work around this ... I would really like to get this 10.04 up and running.
I have an ATI 5570 running via HDMI to a Samsung 42" LCD. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My experience thus far has been waiting for the Ubuntu logo, then the screen goes blank and a loss of signal is present.
