Hi all,

Have a question for everyone. After upgrading Kubuntu to 10.04 I also installed the Ubuntu desktop so i will have botth environments to switch back and forth from. I noticed when i was running the computer janitor it is displaying files to remove and i'm not sure if i should.

Some of the things it wants to remove are:

w32codecs
medibuntu-keyring
libdvdcss2

And a few others. Am I right in thinking that these are no longer needed with 10.04 or should I leave these alone? I thought the above 3 were necessary on a Linux system.

Any help would be appreciated :D

i checked out computerjanitor about a year ago and found it could remove wanted files. for this reason i went with bleachbit which has not remove any wanted files to date.
