Lost the task bars on 10.04

After 3 reboots on the new xbuntu lost the task bars and I cant find the way to put it back. Gives me extra screen space but I cant see notifications.

Worked fine before, even before upgrade

I know that feeling too..... Just don't know the answer???

Yes, I found the answer: it's not restricted to 10.04 it's something that comes up. you right click on the screen and choose the panel settings or appriance I really don't recall. The important thing is that when you finally manage to get it bach when you shutdown make sure to tick the box: save settings for next startup.
