hi all
my system takes about 42 seconds to boot from grub menu to login window (which is actually not bad at all..) but for 30 of those seconds it seems to wait or stall waiting for the usb card reader. it's not exactly a big deal but seems a pity such a thing would triple the boot times.
this sytem displays the verbose boot process rather than the loading animation, so i can see what's happening but i don't know if it saves that to a log somewhere. if anyone knows where i can find it i'll gladly post the whole thing here.
