Hi,

this is rediculous! Two version ago there was a very elaborate program to configure GDM, GDM-theme and lot of other things (menu system-administration/"Logon-Screen")

Now at the same menu-item there is a really primitive window with very few options.

How can you change the GDM-theme nowadays?

How can remote login (x-windows, not vnc/vino) be configured?

"How can" means preferrably: how can that be done without gconf-editing and rewriting half of the systems config-files? ](*,)

I see no responses to this. I just encountered the same. Many boxes on my lan accept remote gdm logins. These are maybe 8.xx boxes and earlier. Very convenient. Now, I find no way to allow that under 10.10.

This seems to deal with customizing the GDM screen. Does it include remote logins?
