Hi
I have an old Pentium IV 1.8 running Ubuntu Studio 8.04 very happily indeed.
However its a multiboot machine with 1) XP ( never gets used ) , 2) Ubuntu Hardy - now upgraded to Lucid, 3) Ubuntu Studio 8.04 ( mostly used ) , and 4) finally 10.04 Ubuntu Studio recently installed.
The problem is
1) the Hardy partition which I upgraded to Lucid is not behaving well - no sound or video after trying LOADS of things I know to have worked before.
2) The XP never gets used so I'd like to remove it fully but still keep a Multiboot Ubuntu system,
3) I absolutely want to keep UStudio 8.04 version but delete all other partitions and try installing Ubuntu 10.04 from a fresh install.
Ive backed up my Home folder from Ubuntu Studio and my original Hardy partitions so I'm good to go.
How do I kill everything except Studio 8.04 partition and use the fresh space to install 10.04 Studio afresh ?
Can I do this with Gparted at 10.04 fresh install ?
All advice very much welcomed
Rgds
