When trying to create a rule for anything in compiz, such as animations, blur etc, I use the dialogue to grab the window and the information (type=normal for example) it shows in the dialogue but when I click ok the setting just shows type= and no specific rule.
Manually entering them works fine (assuming I know the rule).
Also, if I try to add ANY kind of rule to window shadows in the decoration plugin, then I instantly lose gnome panel shadows and nothing brings them back until I remove the custom rule, not even adding another specific rule for the panel.
