Ever since upgrading to 10.04, my desktop is unresponsive; I can click and nothing will happen, right-click doesn't work, and opening folders takes minutes. I believe Nautilus may be the problem.
Running sudo top led to the discovery that Nautilus is taking 40 to 80% of my CPU usage, which seems absurd.
When I ran 9.10 I never had this problem. Is there any easy way to fix this, or do I have to re-install 9.10?

Thanks

proably old settings in the way, i would try deleting the settings for nautilus in your home, there have been many changes in nautilus since 9.10.

I recently (today) ran an update and am having the same issue, but I did not install 10.04.

The desktop is unresponsive after attempting to click on a folder link AND the minimize all/show desktop icon is missing from the top-left of the screen.
