View Full Version : [SOLVED] Should I be concerned?

Well, I was just on the computer for 2 hours and I just put the computer in suspend mode. When I usually wait for it to go into it automatically. (wait for display to turn fully off) It didn't and I turned off the laptop and turned it back on. Then the ubuntu splash screen came up. Said something about one of my files or disk named /tmp. It gave me some options (something like this) skip, something about unmounting it, or find problems.

I clicked find problems/fix. It had a screen with 95% of 100%. It went up to 97% then the computer shut off and restarted without a problem.

Does anybody know what happened or what I did to make it do that?

mine does that all of the time - if you turn off your computer without shutting down properly it goes through a scan to make sure you didnt damage any files. it probably scanned to 100% it just did it fast and didnt show you the last three percentages scan through :) I wouldn't worry.

Oh, maybe the computer bug'd up or something and didn't go into suspend.

Thanks for clarifying!
