Hello,

I have a 80GB Hard Drive with XP installed on it and a 500GB Hard drive with Linux installed in an extended partition.

When I boot on my 80GB Hard Drive, XP starts, no problem.
When I boot on my 500GB Hard Drive, Grub is starting but I cannot get to boot on Ubuntu!! I get the message
Error 17: Partition cannot be mounted

Could anybody help please.

Here's some more information:

It may be reinstall grub. Did you move partitions or do anything else. If not reinstall grub run the boot info script.
