Does anyone know how to change the steps or increment size of the volume changes when mousing over the volume control and using the scroll wheel?

I get jumps of 5% with each click of the wheel.

Thanks

I don't, but you can change the shortcuts and give volume up/down a keyboard shortcut (right ctrl + arrows for instance)

Yes, I have volume buttons on the keyboard that work fine.

I like using the mouse for the volume because it is always in my hand where the keyboard is not.

I was able to adjust the increments of the Volume shortcuts on my keyboard by using gconf-editor, but not on the mouse.

Any ideas?

I just upgraded to 10.04 and have the same problem.

Any other idea or solution ?

I too would also like the increments to be smaller.
