Hi, I am beginning with C... I would like to create some sort of program to teach me words (don't know how to call it in english) and to do some math. I came to the discovery that C might not be so suited for that. Then I was thinking of python or something like that, but what would you suggest? I would like to learn one that has a future two, so that it might be my job to program. If you think C is the base for a programming job, please say so, everything is welcome. Thanks in advance!

I think that C/C++ is a good language to learn. My understanding is that python is easier to learn. Both languages well be around for a while but, currently C/C++ offers the most job opportunities of the two. That may or may not change in the near future (5-10yrs).

OK. I think I'll go on with C and C++ for a while, and wait for 10 years till I reach the job market (I'm just thirteen right now.)
