Is this gone In 10.04? I installed it from the synaptic package manager, but after install It still does not allow me to pick wallpapers via Right click.

Is there any Fixes or is it just a dead project no longer supported?

when you install it, you need to log out & back in, then it will show in the right click.

no waist, just lucky i happen to try it some time ago.
i use the middle click drag to desktop instead.

My laptop doesn't have middle Click :( well thank you anyways lol

you can also try
killall nautilus
then start nautilus
