Hi guys I'm buying a new computer and found this emachine one here

this the one that was on bestbuy http://www.emachines.com/products/products.html?prod=ET1831-07

I have a couple questions about it is the processor dual core or single and also would I be able to upgrade stuff like the video card and psu?

also I was looking at this one here to:

http://www.computertrends.com/product-zoom.asp?productId=94593&categoryid=27

The second ones better but I would have to buy a seperate moniter which one do you guys think would be a better deal. thanks:)

Hi welcome to the forums I added a new link to the computer at best buy and to make a new thread if your in the community cafe section theres a new thread button close to the top of the page.

edit:

also it has a 250 watt powersupply so what graphics cards could it handle without upgrading the powersupply

Probably could handle integrated card. Most newer video cards want 400W+ PSUs.

But yah, it's a dual core, but not a very good machine (except that it's cheap).

You could probably get a better one for around the same price.
