Cups not Starting after installing AWN

I have recently installed 10.04 and am very happy with it. I am having an issue with cups not starting at start up. I reinstalled 10.04 and it is fine. I started to customize my machine to my likings and after each tweak i made I restarted and verified cups. After installing Avant Window Navigator, cups would no longer start at boot. I remove AWN and cups starts. Wondering if anyone else can verify my issue and if anyone might have a recommendation. I have looked at all the posts in the forums and tried all the fixes I could find but none worked.
