View Full Version : How can I create an autorun script?

You know how, in Windows, you can write a script that you can put on a CD and it will run that script, which will run a program, when the disk is inserted? How can I do that in Linux? I have googled it, but haven't really come up with anything yet. I know I've seen something like it in Linux before...

Just right click in the folder that you want it and create an empty file and name it "Autorun.inf". Open it with a text editor and then follow this tutorial for all of the commands:

So it's the same exact thing that Windows uses?
